I enjoy music more than most people (both listening and playing [badly!]), films, eating out (did I mention that?), theatre and the occasional night out on the town. I can be a work-a-holic and my job and university study (Masters) keep me extremely busy. Even though I work in the computer / software industry, I tend to find enough of an outlet for my nerdier side in work to be able to leave it at the door when I get home, but, I love what I do and make no excuses for it.

I can be reserved, not intentionally, but never shy - I like to feel comfortable with people, which seems to take me a little longer than most. People rarely guess that I'm gay (even gay people), because I don't fit the expectations of a 'gay man' - this is a good thing, from my perspective, because I'd rather just be me.

The most important quality I look for is honesty - I'm sometimes too honest for my own good, so it's important to me. I'm not judgmental about looks, finding good personality to be more attractive, but if you want to quote me, I'm mostly attracted to larger guys with dark looks. Overweight, not grossly fat, and facial hair usually do the trick, but I reserve the right to completely change my mind for any reason whatsoever.

Aside from that, intelligence is a 'must have' quality - I'm no snob and I get on with a wide range of people, but to be in a relationship, I think it's important to be able to stimulate each other outside of the bedroom as well as in. You don't have to be studying for a Ph.D. and I'm not the sort to intellectualise about everything, but having the interest and brains to engage life above and beyond what you see in front of you would be a good thing.
