I'm a young man with an old soul. I'm ambitious and focused, and its proven successful for my career and a little rough on my social/love life. I've lived in Chicago for about a year now, and I've tried going out and meeting people the "traditional" way to no avail, and although I haven't had much more luck on the web I would feel hypocritical saying I feel lonely sometimes without taking the proactive steps to help remedy that. An ideal first date for me would start with that connection that floors you. You can feel yourself being drawn to that person immediately. Your eyes rarely break from each other. My idea of fun varies from day to day. Some days I might be feeling adventurous and want to explore something new (restaurant, activity, etc), or do something daring (I've always wanted to kayak through downtown Chicago, sky dive, bungee jump, base jump, etc etc, lol). Other days my idea of fun might be more laid back, catch a movie, go to the beach and chill, or just lay around cuddling and watching some tube :-) Although it seems tacky, I think I'm gonna cave and put sex as well.
